Pressing on toward the prize

It was another dramatic morning sunrise.

The hues of chrome and peach against the silhoutte of dark grey clouds and trees on the horizon. Swathes of salmon pink peeking out in the distance.

A reminder that no matter how dark and dissolute the world is, God’s mercies ARE new every morning.

He will come again to make things right. Indeed “till He returns or calls us home”, we should be found faithful. Doing small things with great love. Today and every day. Step by step, moment by moment. Not because we have to, but because His love compels us. It bubbles forth out of us, like the comforting warm colours of the dawn.
