Since I can hardly find the time to keep up to date with scrapbooking the moments that matter (not until monthssssss later anyhow), I have reconciled myself to doing up an annual desktop calendar instead.

For 2 years now, I kick start the process at the last quarter of the year, and get something out by January… One for myself, one for the hubby, for our offices. Year before last I made one each for the paternal grandparents too. But last year, since they became semi-retired, I ordered them a photobook instead.

Here are some shots of (the top half of) my 2012 calendar – just for the record.  🙂 It cheers up my workspace and serves as a reminder of WHO I’m working for, the people who really matter (there are photos of us and other www-shy family members too), as well as a reminder that I love scrapping, and that there is more to me than being a paper-churning work drone.

This year, all I managed to scrap so far (during a couple of nights after all the kids were asleep and I amazingly did not feel dead to the world myself) is this mini-album. About 20 pages of 8×8 inch layouts with extensive journalling… About 3/4 complete. Must gambatte!!
