Rabbit in the Hole is a Singapore-based online clothing store founded by three Singapore-based ladies and mums.
Why Rabbit in the Hole? Well, the ladies were inspired by little rabbits who often dig holes and hide inside them for comfort and shelter, since their dream was to curate clothes that make children feel safe and free.
As such, the site offers clothing from a few hand-picked European brands that prioritise comfort and style. The LINN range of premium cotton babysuits look so delicate and comfortable! They come in a lovely gift box and would make a really luxurious gift.
The other really impressive range they have are the luxe occasion dresses that look like they were plucked out of a fairytale book. The dresses are certainly costly, but do look magical.
We were sent two dresses to review from Danish brand MarMar Copenhagan. K received the Daisy Feather print dress in cameo rose ($39.90), which is a sweet and elegant peplum dress with whimsical feather prints.
I was initially wondering whether the dress would be stiff and uncomfortable, but my worries were completely unfounded! When the dress arrived, K donned it and immediately commented on how soft and stretchy it was. In fact, she didn’t want to get out of it even after we reached home!
B received the Darling Summer Dress in Coral Haze ($48.90) which is a light and comfortable 100% cotton dress with sweet floral prints and a pleated flare skirt. I thought that the detail around the sleeves added a nice touch to the dress. B also immediately commented on how comfortable the dress was, which is a huge plus, since children totally detest wearing clothes that are prickly or restrict movement.
A comfy dress also means that it will be picked again and again for wearing, which is great news to me, since I always feel sad about beautiful dresses that languish in the wardrobe simply because they are deemed ‘uncomfortable’ by their owners.
With their bead necklaces, don’t they look like little ladies?
The girls love their dresses.
There’s free shipping for all orders within Singapore! I think that’s great, since shipping can be a hidden cost that leaps up at you during checkout. So at Rabbit in the Hole, what you see is what you get.
So if you’re looking for another option for chic clothes for your little ones, do check out their site! A great idea to order as a gift for a friend’s kid, in case you can’t meet up with them in time too!
