Looming for Club Rainbow

Given the ‘looming craziness that has hit all the girls in our family, we decided to convert our hobby into something meaningful.

Susan, a friend and fellow mum blogger, suggested that we band together (pun intended) and sell our creations to raise funds for Club Rainbow.  Apt not just because of their name, but also because their cause is close to our hearts as mothers.

As stated on their website, Club Rainbow provides comprehensive help to about 600 children and youths who are suffering from a range of chronic and life-threatening illnesses.

These Rainbow Children have to persevere each day to cope with their illnesses and its debilitating effects just to lead as close to a normal life as possible.

As every family member is likely to be impacted by the Rainbow child’s illness in one form or another, many of Club Rainbow’s services are geared towards helping the entire family, which I feel is extremely important.

All of us with children know that they have dreams.  Rainbow Children have dreams of their own too. Although not all of them can be fulfilled, I believe passionately in Club Rainbow’s mission to partner with its supporters, to help make some of these dreams come true.

Thus, we will be putting up creations such as the ones you see below up for sale.  The total sale price will go wholly to Club Rainbow.  On our part, us mums are happy to sponsor and thus donate the cost of materials (some of the bands have been sponsored by Rainbow Loom Singapore, and some by Elly), postage and labour.  The latter is the most costly to us I suppose, since these creations can be complex and time is such a precious commodity, so we do hope you will support us!

Flat rainbow ($8) and Rainbow with clouds ($10) charms – hang or pin them on bags!

Other creations like fishtail bands (you may specify any colour combi) are also for sale at $3 each. photo

Given that the health of our children is always a priority, all the bands we use are original Rainbow Loom ones, so you can rest easy! My kids and I have been wearing our bands with no ill-effects. 🙂

Depending on the complexity of your order, it could take between 3 working days to 7 working days for us to post to order out to you.

So, do feel free to email me at lilbluebottle (at) gmail (dot) com if you have further enquiries, and/or to make your order!
