Citiblocs – our portfolio of structures

I realised that I had taken quite a number of new photos of the Citiblocs structures we created since the last post, so here’s one to update our online blog ‘album’!

Also thought it was quite cute to see how the kids have grown over the years, since they look quite different in some of the earlier photos… ; ) An even starker contrast if you look at the very first Citiblocs post – truly a toy that has grown with us.
photoMy favourite part about this train is the little bench inside! Can you spot it?

These houses are easy to make for younger kids since they are very stable.

This is one of our favourite variations of house to make.

Upgraded, fancier version of house – can you tell?

Then there are the feats of structural engineering *takes a bow*.  Yes, truly magnificent, I know.

A glance at the first spider we (okay, I) constructed.

Subsequently, we made another bigger one (more layers in the body, see?)… but I realised this one had the wrong number of legs. Freak insect instead of arachnid.

Looks deceptively simple on the box. But I took quite some time to figure out how to construct it!

The girls enjoy putting in special requests for mummy to make them a certain structure they see on the box or the pamphlet.

I  guess I’m usually up for a challenge.  It can be fun to look at the pictures, and then figure out how to backward engineer them, since there are no step-by-step instructions. Very fulfilling once done too. (Thereafter, the girls particularly enjoy crashing into them.)

Come sail the seven seas with me…

Thus wraps up our walk through our favourite creations!  Till the next time… 🙂

p.s. As usual, these high-quality precision cut blocks can be purchased from MyFirstGames here.

    1. Thanks! It was in the pamphlet heh. Wonder if my girls can create their own original super structures in future!
