This time, our BBOS science experiment was to make quicksand!
First pour some ‘quicksand powder’ into the tray. Then drop some water in till you get a thick consistency.
Then submerge your favourite objects and watch them struggle. The really interesting part was when I dropped some onto the floor after leaving it to stand for a while. It blobbed around like slime instead of being the boring old cornstarch mixture the instruction sheet described it as!
Just another experience in changing substances and meddling with different textures. Always a fun way to learn!
You always make time to do such fun activities with the girls! Should I even suggest you do a Coke and Mentos geyser thing? (If you haven’t already done it! didn’t read your past posts…) Heeeee.
